Cruithne (KRU-in-ya) is the Earth's "second moon". The name is Old Irish and refers to the early Picts and their king.

I like the sound of Cruithne. Perhaps not usable, but would fit in a fantasy story. It's apparently male, but I think it sounds better on a girl.

I also like Laniakea a lot. Not usable either, but it's so sweet and soft. The meaning "immeasurable heaven" is gorgeous!

I actually really dislike the 'KRU' part. The sounds is too close to cruel I guess.
I like it visually.

Laniakea sounds like someone who looks really sweet, but kicks major ass.

Cruithne works better for me if it's pronounced KRUNya, which Wikipedia seems to accept.

Laniakea also needs a tweak for the convenience of us non-Hawaiians. Five syllables ... a lot! What about Lanikea?

I recently added Laniakea to my list. It doesn't seem sweet or soft to me - more of a power name, goddess-y.

Cruithne would have to be a GP for me because I have to do a bad phoney accent to make it sound cool, and I just wouldn't. But it's a neat name, too.

Pangaea ... the pange sound doesn't appeal to me.

I'd absolutely be willing to put Laniakea in the middle purely because it's meaning.

Pangea isn't so bad either.
