I find them both dated. On top of that, now that I know that Liana (et al.) is a short form of names such as Eliana, Juliana and Liliana, it's not nearly as appealing as it once was. I'd rather see Leigh Anna which was the name of a friend I had in high school. It seems more straightforward and less dated that way, imo.

It's okay. I prefer Liana, but I think it's pretty dated no matter what the spelling.

I've a friend named LeAnna. She's 31. I like the name, it's sweet

It's okay. It's not really dated or not-dated, because it's not ever been popular, but it's still familiar.
