when I was at an audition I met a girl named Evyn. I personally think its a nice name, never heard of it though, WDYT?

I dont like Evyn at all I am just so bored with the lets add a y and call it a girls name brigade, its no longer unusual just trendy and tired.
I met a girl last year called Eavan but she pronounced her name ee van, its a form of the name Aoibheann I believe

I dislike it immensely. Why didn't the parents just go whole hog and name her Yvyn? Random Ys really don't appeal to me.

Evan for a girl is fine, rather nice in fact. But the "Y" looks terribly messy and contrived.

I don't like it at all.

I think Y spellings look AWFUL more often than not, and this is no exception.

I also love the name Evan for a boy, and not a girl.
