My full first name is Jessica-Kate. Growing up, my nn was always Jessie which I prefer and which I still get from my family. Once I hit high school, it became Jess. I introduce myself as Jess cos I find it weird to introduce myself as Jessie but I still think of myself as a Jessie.

Is there a preference between Jess & Jessie that you prefer to be called - or would this differ among various social settings?
I can sympathize with these dichotomies as I too have used (or been called) different n/n's in different social circumstances among various relations throughout my life among the various degrees of acquaintance, friendship, familial, &/or relative, including conjoined, intimacy.
