I'd never thought of using Mae (I'd go for May) as a nn for Mavis. What a good idea!
Nancy Jane is epic. Nancy seems to have a dowdy, down-market aura in the US, but I've always found it fascinating and well worth following up. Likewise Betsy.
That said, Winter Hazel Patricia seems very ... different; not to say, discordant. No two are alike.
