Look up the US list for the birth year of your grandparents, note the rank of your grandparents' name(s), then go to the 2014 chart and use the names that have the same ranking of your grandparents' names. The US chart is at
http://www.behindthename.com/top/lists/united-states/2014 change the year as needed.
For example, my grandpa was born in 1914 and named
Edward Henry. Those names ranked #8 and #12. In 2014, the #8 and #12 male names were
Alexander Benjamin.
If the name was not ranked, use something similar (ie, for a female, if the male form is ranked, use that ranking and feminize the modern male name with that ranking) or use another unranked name.
Do the same for as many family members as you like and create a whole family!
