[Opinions] Re: Marie
It's definitely expected in the middle, but I think it can add sparkle to a lot of names. Like Olivia Marie, while expected, is still objectively very pretty. It's also kind of fun to put it with more outlandish names, i.e. September Marie or Xanthippe Marie.I also like double first names like Jeanmarie or Tina Marie.I think it's nice as a first name too, though because it's so common as a middle name it might give kind of a sidekick vibe. I know one who pronounces it like MAH-ree (her family is Georgian) and it feels more dominant.Anyway I might be in the minority but I don't believe in "filler middle names". Names like Rose, Ann, and Marie are good names that happen to be commonly used in the middle because they complement others well... Lynn being maybe the exception that I rarely approve of. ;)
