[Opinions] Melangell
I first heard this name on a cadfael series. Pronounced the name Miangle?
After then saw in the cast names its spelt Melangell. Having googled this apparently its the name of a saint. St Melangell lived in Wales and was daughter to a King. Stopped a man as he hunted deer in the forest and became a saint. Love it. beautiful name xx

It reminds me of Melomel, a type of medieval drink fermented from honey and fruit.
Ooh it's very pretty, I haven't heard it before. I have a soft spot for any Welsh name, but really Melangell has a gorgeous sound. I like that the ll is at the end, it makes it much easier for an English speaker to pronounce. It's in the submitted database here if you want to learn more about it.
