I dunno from Duggars. But Spurgeon sounds like a GM experiment gone horribly wrong, like a half-sturgeon, half-pigeon. Whoever chose it is trying too hard for the yooneek.

They said he was named after a missionary named Charles Spurgeon...they could've just called him Charles.

The fact that Spurgeon is just a word or two off from "sturgeon" and "surgeon" makes it totally undesirable as a name.
