[Opinions] Olivine
This has really been growing on me lately. Is it usable? Do you think it will make a good alternative to Olivia and Olive?

It does sound pretty, but I can't see it as a name. It's the name of a mineral.

I prefer Olive, it's one of my favourite names. Olivia is fine too, but Olivine really isn't my cup of tea. It's too elaborate and it sounds like someone wanted to be original. "I'm too cool to use Olive or Olivia".
It's quirky. I don't think of it as a gemstone - it's more just a mineral. Sounds chemical too. It's usable, but I prefer Olive.
I think it's very usable. It's not a complicated or difficult name and I like that it brings an elegance to the simple Olive, and yet is a mineral name and hard as opposed to flowery.
My favorite alternative to Olivia and Olive is Olivette, but this is nice and could grow on me as well. I do wonder though, if she just ended up as Livvy or Liv if it would matter that it's a different full name.

My thoughts exactly!
It sounds like some kind of sandwich dressing.
yeah, or just about any olive oil based product. Maybe a cosmetics line or something.
A dee-leesh one.
Too salty.
I like it. A cute nn would be Olivie.
I think it's usable and lovely!
I don't know, honestly. This name reminds me of Olivine City from the Pokémon games.
I think of Olivine City as well.
