[Opinions] Vera

Nope. Sounds very old-ladyish to me. Also reminds me of Aloe Vera.
I love Russian names. Vera just sounds very sophisticated and I don't think it's old ladyish at all. I'm a sucker for V names. =)
If I'm objective and just listen to the sound, I like it. But mostly it just makes me think of a middle-aged Hispanic woman.
You'd think Vera Wang would make the name seem more appealing, evoking images of beautiful expensive things.

I like it too! At first I thought it was old ladyish until I met a five year old girl with the name and her sister Sylvie (3). I also love that it's russian and means "Faith" and "True" and the Albanian meaning is "Summer".
I don't think Vera Jade Lorelei works, sorry. Maybe just Vera Lorelei or sometning different like Vera Anneliese or Vera Charlotte, Vera Madelaine.

I think Vera is a beauiful name but I don't like the middle names.
I have a strong picture of Vera, but I'm older than most of you here--there used to be a show called "Alice" and there was a waitress named Vera. She was sweet but ditzy and had a somewhat whiny, annoying voice. So it's not very elegant and pretty to me at all.
:-/ I want to like it, though, so maybe I will someday. Maybe I'll get a new picture of it, eventually. :b
I don't know if it "fits" very well with Jade & Lorelei, which are very modern-trendy to me.
