We've been lucky with baby Derek. Being a journalist, I've switched to freelance, and i've started writing a novel for young adults. This means that i'm able to work from home so I can be there for Derek 24/7. Bronson is now in the final year of his surgical internship so is working very long hours. It's hard on both Derek and I with him gone, we miss him. Once his internship is over he'll be able to work more regular hours and it'll get easier.
Derek is almost walking now! He took his first steps around 10 months and, although he still crawls most the time, he's getting sturdier on his feet. He said his first word last week as well!!! Bronson had arrived home from a double shift at the hospital and little Derek was so happy to see him his chubby little arms went into the air to be picked up and an audible "Da Da" came out. Bronson couldn't believe it!

DS: Danil Matteo Harven (37)- married to Louise Ann (nee Edwin). They have two chilren, Alexa Rhian (8) and Tia Briony (6).
DD: Raquel Amelie Nixon (nee Harven) (33) - married to Keith Michael. They have a son named Tyrell Quentin (12).
DS: Oberon Maxwell Harven (32) - Widow. Single father to Mary-Anne (1)
DS/DS: Bronson Hewitt Harven (28)/ Landon Simeon Harven - Bronson is married to Meg Eloise and have a son, Derek Landon (1)/Landon unfortunately died in a hit and run accident at age 5 years.
DD: Emmerson Jada Vimino (nee Harven) (27) - married to Lorenzo Benedict and they are expecting a son.
DD: Helaine Oriana Harven (24) - single mother to twin boys Levi Blaise and Lyric Chance (7).
