I don't think Erin was ever really popular enough to be considered "dated" now. Heck, besides Brokovich, I've only ever known one Erin, and she actually spelled her name Eirin. I think Erin is a cool, easy name to have.

My thoughts exactly. I don't think it was ever popular enough to be dated. I've known only a couple and they've been all different ages.
