Am I the only one who likes it for a girl? "And by the way, dearie, your punctuation sucks canal water!"

Only as a nickname, maybe for something like Jeannette or Janet.

I strongly dislike it for a girl or a boy. Probably like it least for a girl.

I don't know the answer to your question. But I do know that I don't like it for any human, girl or boy.

Personally can only see it as a boys name

I like it for a girl as a nickname only.

I don't like it for a girl but I like Jett, with two t's, on a boy.

I honestly can't get behind this one for a girl. I think I like Jett for a boy just too much.

I like it for airliners.

I love it! I prefer it with an extra T. But I love Jett for either genders.

I don't like it for a boy or a girl. It seems pretentious and silly. It doesn't even convey "black is beautiful" the way Ebony does. It just makes me think of airplanes or water sprays.

No, but I don't.

I like it for a girl... Cat.I used to play a game as a kid where I had to build a virtual farm and when I started I was automatically given a dog and a cat. Then cat was black and I thought Jet was the best name ever for it regardless of gender because 'jet black' (yup, I was a creative kid!)For a human... baby, child, adult, OAP... No, not for me sorry.

It's not even a name for me, boy or girl. It's just... well, jet. As in jetlag. I hate it.

Maybe - I don't like it.
I think it would work as a nick on some girls, but I wouldn't give it to a baby, no way.
Too phallic.

No. Check out my list below ;)I love Jette as a nn for Jeanette. I've been thinking more about using Jetty on its own.

To me it's a boy's name because the only Jet I know is a 5 year old boy.I think it could be unisex, though. Used for a girl, it reminds me of Joan Jett.
