[Opinions] Julia and Jillian
Does anyone think Julia is too similar to Jillian for cousins? I have a niece Jillian and would love to use the name Julia for my baby due in August (if it's a girl of course). I am very close with my sister and these 2 cousins would be together a lot. I've already asked my sister and she said it would be fine. What do you think?

For cousins, no, not even cousins that are close to each other. I like them both. Julia is my daughter's middle name. I'd go for it!
I think it would be fine. If your sister is cool with it, then go for it.
No, I don't, especiallin if Jillian ends up being called Jill. Though they look similiar, I think the fact that they start with different sounds (Jul v Jil) make them distinct.

Julia and Jillian are related but unless they're both called Jill
I don't see a problem. Jillian is a form of Julianne, so the names are close. Too close for sisters but not for cousins.
I like both names, and Julia is an international classic.

For sisters, it is way to close, but for cousins, I don't think it's a big deal, even if they will be together a lot. Julia is very nice, btw. :)

Sisters, yes. Cousins would be fine, I think, esp. if your sister doesn't have a problem with it. Both names are lovely, btw.

I think they are fine.
If they were sisters I would protest a little more but since they're only cousins I think that it would be fine. The names aren't that similar anyway. I love Julia by the way.

Nope.
For sisters, it'd be too close for me. But for cousins, not at all. I think it'd be just fine. People outside of the family might need to be told each girls' name a couple of times if they meet them together but I don't think that's really a big enough deal to be considered a problem.
