Honestly, I just can't see it. I knew a family who named their large dog Janus because they wanted him to "look both ways" when woofing at possible intruders, so that image sticks. And your pronunciation doesn't help, because although they said JAYnus, your way is the Latin way, so the meaning is still obtrusively there.
