Don't like it

I prefer Clayton with Clay as an occasional nickname.

I really like Clay!

A big bulky guy who is always dirty.

A good ol' southern boy who hunts and fishes and probably drinks to get drunk on the weekend.

I really dislike it.

It's a sticky name. Makes me think of the obvious with pottery and modeling clay, but also Carolina clay which has a high iron content and stains everything it touches orange-y red. It also reminds of me of Clay Aiken.

The name itself is alright. I like it better than other Cl- names for boys, but not as much as other one syllable -ay names.

Not great. I think it seems sweet and polite, but also unintelligent and doofy.

It's mud.
