I don't hate Laurence, though it's not a big favorite, and I do like it better than Kelly. I am of the camp that maintains that Kelly was too popular for girls to be kind to bestow on a boy. Laurence, as long as any nickname is not Laurie.

Really? I've known about four or five male Kellys in my lifetime, and they never seemed to have any problems.
