I had a classmate named Australia when I was in Kindergarten. I made a particularly nasty comment about her name behind her back once. I don't remember if she overheard me or if it was the teacher, but I got in a lot of trouble over it either way.
Normally I dismiss "kids will make fun of her name!" comments, but I just can't think that when it comes to Australia...because I totally did make fun of her name (ugh. sorry Australia :().
Australia Beatrice is an interesting combo though. I kinda like it.
