I think most people would object more to the "ass" sound in it, than based on having any idea what acetylene is. Well, if not for the extreme utility of the common acetylene welding torch... only a chemistry geek would use it. I think it'd be sort of fun to bear. NN Asti? lol. Careful ... the energy in my triple bond, you know...
