[Facts] How would you pronounce this?
The name Sven. I recently asked about the name Seven on here. Someone suggested spelling it Sven instead which I thought was interesting and I like. But would you pronounce Sven the same as Seven? Or would you kinda blend the s and v? I would only use this name for a mn so I guess it's not that big of a deal but I just wanted to see what others think. Thanks.

If I remember corectly, the author Roald Dahl gave one of his daughters the names Olivia Twenty Dahl. He and his wife just liked the sound of 'twenty'; it had no significance beyond that. So, if you go for Seven instead of Sven, there's some kind of precedent. All the best

Sven(blending the s and v) is way good. Seven kind of sounds.... odd i guess. but it's an awesome name.It fits

I always just, like you said, blend the s and the v. It's a way cool name though, I like it!

You blend the S and the V - pronounce it as if you were saying 'Seven' but skipping the first 'e'. In other words, Sven is pronounced exactly how it looks!

Chrisell described the pronunciation quite well. Sven is one syllable instead of two. If you plan on pronouncing the name like Seven, I would just use the spelling Seven. Sven and Seven are two different names.
