My coworker Jennifer (Jenny) and her husband Connell just had their second daughter: Sadie Rose. They have one older daughter Saedhbh (6).
I actually really like Sadie and I think it matches Saedhbh just enough. I don;t liek Rose a mn though.

Well....I'm older, but I never wanted to be one of those old people who were stuck in the past when it comes to changing tastes and fashions. And on the whole, I think I've been successful. I think my taste in names has evolved since the 1980s. I think my mind has remained open.
However, there are exceptions. There are some now-fashionable names that I can't wrap my mind around. And Sadie is one of those. I find it hideous, really hideous. All I can think of when I hear it is an old, worn-out-looking woman with long unkempt gray hair, wearing an old coat, boots with no socks, and carrying a ratty umbrella to shade her from the sun as she shuffles out to get her mail. I think the name is so bad it's comical.
Rose as a middle name...c'mon people you're not even trying.
I have no idea what the heck Saedhbh even is and no clue how to pronounce it. I do know I wouldn't want it as my name.

Sort of like SIVE. Comes from Sadb, I believe. (eta: ah, looks like Sive is a spelling too.)
Here's a youtube vid with the pronunciation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvDWrzJN9-w

Yep, Sive exactly.
SAD-de-be-de-be-de-be-THHHH-be, obviously. I think it's too matchy with Sadie.
Yes, exactly like that ;)
