Mrs. Doubtfire?I will only ever picture Robin Williams' in a fat suit portraying an old english woman -- Mrs. Doubtfire! I don't care for this name at all!

Iphigenia.. don't you mean "Iphigenea" by any chance? or is this just an alternative spelling? As Iphigenea is the daughter of Artemis(?) in the Ancient Greek book the Ilias I believe.. anyway I pronounce it as EE-fee-ge-nie-ya

Close, but no cigar. Click on the name Iphigenia. She was the daughter of Agamemnon and Clytemnestra (sp?).

Bear is correct. If you've ever seen Mrs. Doubtfire (Robin William's movie), it is a name he uses in it.Honestly, I like it! I don't know that I'd use it, but I like the look and even the sound! NNs are annoying, though, but maybe if it were the MN it wouldn't be a problem.

I adore this name! The only down side is a nn. Iffy? Jenny? Genie? Nie-a?I pronounce it (and have always heard it as) "if-ih-jen-IE-a." But if someone said it should be "if-ih-JEE-nee-a" or "if-ih-JAY-nee-a," I couldn't really disagree. Those are probably closer to the original pronunciation.
