[Opinions] Columbia?
Thoughts on Columbia? Is it usable or is it too much associated with the country or Christopher Columbus? Nicknames ideas? Combos ideas?

I think it's too close to the name of the country.

Columbia is actually a poetic name for the United States. I love it as a patriotic but not "in your face" name. I can see a Columbia being nicknamed Coco, Lumi, Bia, Mia, and Collie.Unfortunately the only combo that comes to mind for me is Alice Columbia.

I don't think it's really usable, but I've see stranger names. Collie might be an okay nickname.

I think of Columbia Sportswear or the city before the country or Rocky Horror. Needless to say it has a lot of associations. I think they make it seem too wordy to make a good name. But I do love Columba (m) and Colombe (f).

I'll be singing the Rocky Horror hits all day - gee, thanks!Apart from the corsets and fishnet, I think of the country. And for both reasons I'd avoid it. I knew a Columbine once - might that do?

Hi !!!My first thought was Columbia University lolIn Italy the country is called Colombia with a 'o' because of Cristoforo Colombo.By the way Columbia sounds very snobbish and 'elderly sharp aunt'.Byeeeeeeeee

It reminds me more of the country than Columbus. And it don't like country names.
