[Opinions] Re: Linda
in reply to a message by Perrine
Linda is my older sister's name.
It's not ready for a comeback, and it's impossible to predict which names will come back and which will not. So it may or it may not ever come back.
Sometimes I think Linda sounds glamorous and pretty, and I can see what was once so appealing about it to so many, and other times I think it's heavy and a little clunky.
My sister went through a brief stage when she was a teenager of spelling her name Lynda. I don't really care for that spelling, just seems to fall into the "Y is feminine" mindset.
I like Melinda the best of the three names. (Melinda is my stepmother's name, though she never ever goes by it.) Belinda is a lot more clunky than Melinda, Linda is a little more clunky than Melinda, Melinda is just sweet and pretty.
