For many reasons, the first being the Roald Dahl book.
Anna is simple and boring whereas Matilda is sweet, fun, and has that adorable vintage feel. The nns Mattie and Tilly are also really cute. Also, Matilda is way less popular than Anna, which is more desirable to me.
