I think it's pretty awful for anyone! But the Dutch do enjoy giving nicknames as full names, so I'm not as surprised as I'd like to be.

The only girl name I can think of that would shorten comfortably to Quinty is Quintillian. I think the parents of the Quintillian I know made it up, but it sounds really pretty. I don't think it ever gets shortened IRL.

Cute. It reminds me of Dymphy, which is another name I've seen only on Dutch girls. I think it's a form of Dymphna.

I would probably recommend it as a nickname for Quinn or Quintessa or something similar rather than as a full name.

I don't like it. It kind of sounds like it'd be an adjective, is that weird? I much prefer just Quinn if anything.
