[Opinions] Re: Cinnamon on a boy?
in reply to a message by Felie
I don't like it. In the US, Cinnamon is exclusively feminine and is considered a stripper name. If you like the sound of Cinnamon, how about Cimarron? I think it's from the Spanish cimarrón, meaning "wild, untamed." Though there's no record of it being used as a name, it has been used to describe a Panamanian tribe (the Cimarron people), wild horses (caballos cimarrones), and various landmarks in the American West, including a mountain range. It is generally synonymous with the Wild West, and has been used in the titles of many western movies.http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/177263
