Love it. My #2 for a boy. One of my favorite kids at the preschool I work at is called Alastair. I think it's generally regarded as serious, handsome, a bit intellectual, v British Isles. Some might say pretentious (I hope not). Maybe a pinch of sorcerer/magician name in there too.
