[Opinions] Clarastella or Chiarastella
WDYT about Clarastella or Chiarastella - "bright star"? Beautiful or tacky? Usable? Or too much?Does the sea exist
Because of our longing?

I'd say tacky and unusable, but I also applaud the effort. It's fun. Maybe as a mn? I feel like it's worth going all the way and using Chiarastella.

I don't think the meaning is tacky at all (especially if it means something to you). I just don't care for the names combined.

Clara Stella is less ... yeah, tacky I suppose. But I'd avoid the rhyme and use Clare Stella or - more likely - Stella Clare. I think it's lovely, and the meaning is still there but less obvious.

Clarastella is hard to say for me. Chiarastella rolls off the tongue beautifully. It's a lot of name, but as long as the kid wasn't a pampered princess I'd be delighted to know a Chiarastella. Great meaning.Edit: If it's for a story, definitely go for it! Great literary name.

No I don't like it, it sounds contrived.

The meaning is beautiful! The names themselves though are too much of a mouthful. What would she be called for short? Clara/Chiara or Stella? Why not just use Stella as the middle name, or one of the middle names in a combo?

I'm not planning to use it (except perhaps in a story), so I wasn't really thinking about nicknames. I just made it up and thought it was beautiful.

Ok. I appreciate the meaning and idea behind the names, I just find the names themselves too over the top to use in real life. They could work nicely on the right character though!

Do not like Clarastella, but I do like Chiarastella. It sounds really lovely, but might be a tad too much. There are plenty of over-the-top names out there so I think it works anyway. Clary is our "bright star" too. We named her Clarisse Bituin (latinate clarice, and bituin - Tagalog word for star). I also always thought something like Seren-Ming or Estella Clare would be pretty (starbright)

Hi !!!Clarastella
How beautiful!
I love Stella but with Clara is complete and poetic! In Italy there were
11 Chiara Stella born in 2009
6 Chiarastella born in 2010
less than 5 Clara Stella born in 2011
Every year since 1999 all these names were less than five anyway. But Clarastella wasn't in the database at all.
No Clarastella in Italy..What's a tragedy!
It is so wonderful!I will promote it.

Tacky, and Chiarastella is way too much and a mouthful.
Clara Estella as a combo or something like it would be better.
