I like it but think it's dated

It's OK, but I prefer Diane.

I like it a lot. I agree with Anneza that such a classic name can't really date, as such, but I've never met a Diana under 70, and I associate Diane with the 1950s, so they both seem a little elderly to me too.
There's one in my family tree several generations back with sisters Sabina and Charlotta - an interesting set.

I really like it. I think it's pretty and interesting, and I don't think I've ever met a Diana.

I don't think names like Diana can really date. If they've been well known for in excess of two millennia, then they will obviously have popularity cycles, but what name won't?

I like Diana very much indeed. I'd never use it as a fn because I don't think Di is a very encouraging nn! And there seems to be no avoiding it. As a mn, it works well.

I think it sounds harsh. The word DIE.
I only like it pronounced the Spanish way. Dee-AH-na.
I like the idea of the goddess.
I think Diana seems so dated mainly because of the princess (why is Di not on the namesakes page, I wonder? Weird). It was never a big fad associated with a specific time IMO. Not any more than, say, Julia has been.

I really love it, and would probably consider using it if it wasn't my aunt's name (who I'm not particularly close to but it would be weird enough to use). I think it's often overlooked as dated or whatever but I think it's definitely a gem. Strong and sparkly. I also really like Diane, as a somewhat softer version.

I love it's connection to the goddess. I feel like I would love it a lot more if it wasn't so dated.

I have never known anyone named Diana, but I've known several named Diane. I guess not surprisingly, since Diane was more popular in the US. I think Diana is eminently usable.

I think it's lovely. It's definitely less common these days and could come off as slightly dated, but it's enough of a classic that I think it's very usable.

ETA- Diane, on the other hand, comes off as very dated to me.
