It's always been a guilty pleasure of mine. I think it's especially associated with Freud amongst people with a higher education level. Otherwise, it just sounds like a cool name. Thankfully, I think it's becoming less associated with Freud over time, as more people are starting to reclaim names with negative connotations - like Ophelia, Lucretia, Sampson, Morgana, Lilith, Pandora, Aryan, Lazarus, Hannibal, Lucifer, for instance.
