It's definitely nms. I much prefer Cora, Coraline, and Coralie.

I really like it, too! It's so grounded (despite being, you know, oceanic).

It's cute! I like it better than Cora. It gives me a very warm, orange and blue image. I guess because of the corals you find in the sea.

I like the sound of coral as a word. I don't know why, I'm not crazy for it as a name though. I much prefer Carol on a male

I know someone named Coral who's about 30. She's a very colorful and loud person (bordering on annoying, depending on who you ask). The name definitely suits her well. I think you'd have to have the right personality to pull it off. I don't personally like the way the name sounds but I can appreciate that it's pretty imagery and looks like a cool way to flip Carol.

Is Coralie pronounced Coral-Lee or Coral-lie

In English it's pronounced COR-a-lee. In French the emphasis is on the LEE: Cor-a-LEE.

I've said "Coralie" to myself several times, and I realize that I say, "cor-a-LEE", emphasizing LEE and not COR. But maybe I'm the only one. I've not really even heard it said.
