[Opinions] Memari
Just received a call from a prospective student named Memari. I admit, I actually raised my eyebrows when I initially heard her name (I'm on the phone, people can't see me), because I thought she'd said "memory." It's pronounced the same way. I have no idea if it's from another language or if it's a "kre8yve" spelling of Memory. In any event... WDYT?Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381

It's a nice sounding word. I definitely would have assumed it rhymed with Amari though.

If it's a kre8yve spelling of Memory, I think it's awful. But first I read it as me-MA-ree and thought it sounded rather nice.
BTW, I remember as a child I wrote a story about a girl who was called Memori (taken from the word "memory") because I thought it sounded nice.
