I like it, but I like Magdalene even more. However it sounds too religious for me to use personally. I think it needs a short middle name. Some examples:

That spelling looks incomplete to me and not as pretty as Magdalene, which I do like.

I prefer Magdalena or Madeleine. Magdalen and Magdalene makes me think of the Magdalene Laundries.

I like it.
I used to have Magdalen Lily on my own list, but you can take it if you like it. Some other thoughts:
Magdalen Frances, Magdalen Cecile,and Magdalen Beatrix.

I like it, though it seems a bit heavy to me (that spelling more than others).

Just based on sound, I like it. It's elegant and grounded. I like Magdalen Freyja as a combo.

I think it sounds very sweet, I like it a lot but I hate the common nickname "Magda". Yuck.

I like it a lot, though I'd never use it as it's a bit too religious for me. Magdalen needs a short and sweet middle name.
