With Iris, pretty much the only flower name worth considering. Timeless, lively, elegant, cheerful - all the right things, plus it was Chaucer's favourite flower. What's not to like?
My friend Desiree,coincidentally dark-haired and beautiful, had Daisy as her childhood nn for a while; now she's mostly Des, but I still call her Daisy sometimes.
