If I were to use Ethel, I would use the version Ethelinda. This way, the child might have variance on whether to pronounce the second letter "e"--even varying her pronunciation upon various occasions; actually, she might even use a long E sound to begin the name--allowing the second "e" to remain silent like the famous river Lethe--I really like this!
Then she could always be Ethel for short; still she would always have a unique, yet quite traditional name - as an Anglo-Saxon twist upon an ancient name / theme. Sorry if I "got carried away"...
I think Olive is my favorite among the list; but I should give further consideration to Thomasina, which I've only first learned somewhat recently.
