What do you think of Peregrine. DH really likes it nn Pip or Pippin. For a boy?

It's my first choice for a middle name for a son.
I'm not huge on Pip. Pippin is ok but if it weren't for Merry and Pippin I wouldn't like it at all. If I used Peregrine as a first name I'd probably go with Per or maybe Perrin as a nickname (although I'd be more likely to use Perrin on its own).

I like it a lot and I love Perry lately for some reason, but I cannot stand Pip/Pippin.

I met a dog named Pippin many years ago.

Peregrine could work, but I feel it would be better as a middle name.

Omg. YES. You get my vote. I mean, it's pretty out there but it's awesome. And he could always go by Perry if he gets sick of his name being so "OTT". Or if Peregrine is paired with a simpler middle name, that would be nice.

Pippin is cute for a pet. It is just not right for a child. Pergerine is alright, but is hard to pronounce.
