I have an Aunt named Nancy. She is mid fifties I would guess.
It has a very dated vibe, like Janet. But it is not bad. I think Nance might be a little more hipster-y and stylish right now - but I like Nancy better.
I only think of Nancy as a full name. My mom calls her Nan or Nana-Banana.
