I spoke to a Constantino earlier this week. That was cool.

I know a German Constantin who goes by Conny.

A handsome, strong name, but maybe also a bit on the "heavy" side? Most of the nicknames aren't particularly appealing - Con, Costa, Stan, Tino?. Gus is ok. Stijn is interesting. Could Stine/Steen work? Better as a middle name perhaps?

I love it! I'm more attached to the spellings Constantin and Konstantin but either way it's lovely. I'd, personally, be more inclined to use it as a MN bc I'm not a big fan on the nickname options. It's a pretty long name.

It's absolutely gorgeous, but I'd be more likely to use it for a book character than in real life. It's a bit overwhelming for a real person.

The one I knew, long ago, resembled a rugby-playing Greek god, so my impressions are favourable. He was known as Con, which we all liked; I suppose Stan could be a possible nn too. Constantine is a tad long for everyday use.

I don't like it. It seems stuffy and very religious to me. Also, childishly, it makes me think of constipated

I think it's just wonderful. I really like Constantine. I had a G. Uncle with the name spelled without that last E. And I'd use it happily if I could (my DH doesn't like it much) but I'm working on that. :)

I plan on using it one day as a MN. My brother is Constantijn "Stijn", so that's why it's pretty likely I will really use it if I ever have a son.
