I don't care for smooshed names in general so neither spelling appeals to me although I do like
Anne Marie and Anne-Marie (which I briefly toyed with while carrying my youngest dd).
If I had to choose between
Annmarie and
Annemarie, I'd go with the latter because
Anne and
Marie are both French (more congruous) and I don't have to look at the three consonants side by side with
Annmarie.
ETA that I obviously like Anne-Marie (and
Anne Marie) because I briefly considered it for my dd. At the end of the day, however, it just felt a tad dated (although lovely) while
Anna Maria felt too exotic and both felt too expected.
