[Opinions] Wilfrid
Wilfrid is commonly used as masculine name with exception of the Nordic countries, where it's both a masculine and a feminine name.
Do you think I could use it in a non-Nordic setting on a genderfluid character?

I think it works. If someone is non-binary they don’t want to be tied to masculine or feminine exclusively, so a unisex name like Wilfrid works (even if it is mostly male), especially for someone who is AFAB (a female at birth). You could also have them go by a feminine variant like Wilfrida on femme days. I’m kinda genderfluid myself and have a unisex, but mostly masc name, so it’s just how I would approach it.

Yes, it is an attractive name but decidedly masculine; probably not the level of gender ambiguity you were seeking. I do like it very much.

I agree, it seems to be used as a male name only in the country where I'd like to use it. Thank you for your insight!
