Thoughts on Finnian for a boy?

For some reason I hear Amphibian... but the name is nice enough. Its just the amphibian thing that annoys me. Finn is also a nice nickname.

It makes me think of the Pokemon Finneon. (It's a fish Pokemon with a tail resembling a butterfly.)

I think it's too fussy. I prefer Finn, Flynn or even Finley.

I considered it for my son Finley, but my husband liked Finley more.
