It's definitely unusual, but I think it might sound too much like Amber. Still, I could see Camber as being some cool skater dude with a dyed fringe

It's ok. Its similarity to Amber puts me off. Not because it sounds feminine (it doesn't), but because it is a dated sound. It's a cool GP name. Cambria is a cool option too, not to use, but to appreciate.

Just because Geoffrey of Monmouth (presumably) made it up doesn't make it a good choice in a world where slightly convex road surfaces are routine.

I read it as "chamber" at first glance so it has that working against it.Seems fine for like a family pet or a fictional character. Can't say I'd care for it in real life. I think it's the similarity to Amber (which I really don't like) that's putting me off.

Kamber, maybe... but the word camber makes Camber seem weird as a name.

I'm not sure. I love Cam- names, and its certainly more interesting than Cameron, but its rhyming with Amber gives it a feminine feel to me. I have to say. Wheel angles are not persuasively negative to me.

Did you happen to google it before you submitted it?According to Wikipedia, it refers to a variety of curvatures, including the angle made by a vehicle's wheels.So no, this is not really a name and is not a good candidate to be used as one.

It's the name of an ancient Welsh king, so yes it is a name. This isn't a name I'd actually use for a child, it's a Gp name. And this isn't a baby name site.

Well, it's the name that Geoffrey of Monmouth gave to what was most likely a fictional character. It doesn't really sound like a name to me and reminds me a bit of Camembert. It's a fine guilty pleasure.
