[Opinions] WDYT of Ascelin?
What do you think of the boy's name Ascelin? Do you think Ash would work as a nn?
Also does anyone know the pronunciation? All I can find is the French pronunciation.

I want to like it, but it looks too much like the name of a medication or a medical condition.
It reminds me of the girls name Aisling, even if the pronounciation is different. Its nice, though.
The meaning is nice and it looks cool. I don't know how accurate it is, but according to Google Translate its pronounced AS-E-leen.
Sounds like a name of a pharmaceutical drug to me.
Not sure of the pronunciation. I would guess "AS-kuh-lin". I'm intrugued, and also with the related name Asco.
Not a fan. It looks like the name of a mushroom species to me, or a creative spelling of Aislin.
Ace-lynn? I have seen this once or twice, but always on girls, like a variation of Ashlyn or Jacelynn or other lynn inventions.
I don't think Ash works, better leave that for Asher or Ashton. Ace would seem to make more sense.

I don't really like the way it looks. It looks like javelin. I also don't find it particularly masculine sounding with the many trendy feminine names today that look and sound similar. I have seen this even used on girls with it spelled Acelynn.
