ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh idk. i've really warmed up to a lot of names with similar vibes lately (ex. Judith), but i still dislike Harriet i think. though it has some charm, it's just not so attractive or substantial to me- i dislike a lot of girls names that are just sloppy sounding twists on boys names. also the whole "hairy" sound. and the bad Harry Potter fics where he's a girl instead and the writer lazily decides on Harriet (i'm never reminded of Harry Potter. i'm sorry for being reminded now).
howeverrrrr it also reminds me of Harriet the Spy, which i really enjoyed as a kid. maybe i'll like the name in the future, i just don't rn.
i love Winifred ftr. it has a more whimsical, laid back feel.
