What does everyone think of the name Auberon for a boy?

Im thinking maybe this would be a nice 'full' name for Aubrey or a name by itself.

What would be some nice siblings or combos for Auberon

I think I prefer Aubrey. Auberon sounds so different than Aubrey to me, anyway, and makes me think of "Obi Wan" when I say it. :b

I like it, but the variant Oberon is the name of a very popular beer around here. No matter how cool a name, if it coincides with a kind of beer that is that well-known, I couldn't do it.

I prefer Oberon. I love this name but I would never use it for my son. I called one of my PPs Oberon ;)

For a sibset I like

Oberon and Juliet
Oberon and Helena
Oberon and Valentine/ Valentina

Oberon and Laurence

Well, maybe too much Shakespeare... But I like it :D

Oh, ...

I just read in another post that you like the name Duncan. This is also a name from Macbeth. So how about the following sibset?

Oberon and Duncan

Love it. It makes me think of the character in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream (even though his name is spelled Oberon). It's nicely unusual and yet classic. Aubrey is a nice nn for it, though I do like plain Aubrey, too.
