I would pronounced the HY- part in this name as HEE-, so for me it's not similar to Hyper / Hype.
I wouldn't want to have this name. It'd be okay as a MN, but I really wouldn't like it to be my FN.
It's not really my tatse, but I appreciate the history behind the name.
