It reminds me of Artemis Fowl, holy days like Christmas and Candlemas, and 18th century fashion. It could grow on me.
I don't generally like Briar, but I think it looks/sounds cool as a MN here. I think I'd most like Artemas paired with nature/word names in general.
I also think Artemas Hugo works well.
