[Facts] Re: Looking for another first name
I have a name "LLATIO" that is short for some other name. I know that the other name means "happy" or "got lucky". I don't know what language the name is, but it might be Welsh because of the double LL. I'm trying to discover what the other full name is. I need to know how "LLATIO" came about and what name it came from. Thanks....Shiner

I dunno if that's Welsh, Shiner. I think you may be laboring under a common phallacy...-- Nanaea

ShinerIt could be Spanish, too, since the double-l is used in Spanish (think llama, quesadilla, etc.) and quite a number of male Spanish names end in o.
I'm not that familiar with Welsh, but I don't know of any names or nicknames in Welsh that end in o. I'm much more familiar with Irish Gaelic.
Don't quote me on whether it's definitely Spanish or Welsh, though.Phyllis
